This work is a tribute to seven generations of women whose names have crossed time. Each paper boat carries a feminine name from a different era, honoring lives, memories, and identities that have shaped the past and continue to inspire the present.
Though each vessel follows its own course, together they form a shared journey across the same sea a symbol of resilience, hope, and the invisible bonds connecting women through generations. The ocean represents the passage of time, while the paper boats remind us of both the fragility and the extraordinary strength of the human spirit.
Every name tells a story. Every voyage becomes part of a greater legacy.
The material used in the creation of the boats is soft paper from a book titled "Cartas a una joven poeta"  attached and glued on top of the canvas.
