It is a work that represents calm, family and peace.
In the background you can see the sea.
The cottony cumulus clouds tend to float to the surface.
You can see that the storm has just passed, leaving the sea calm.
The six sailboats represent the family, the six generations of women, in my family: Gafia, who was my great-great-grandmother, Iulica, who was my grandmother, Aura who is my mother, Carmen who is my sister, Iulia who is my cousin and Chloe, I guess, will be my daughter in the future.
This painting for me represents more than a view, more than an image.
 
It represents a whole life.
 
Sailboats normally withstand the sea in all its facets, just as these women endure the obstacles and joys of life.
